Game collecting
Background
Ever since watching AVGN at way too young an age I've always had an interest in game collecting. In my childhood, the way of life for other kids my age was to rely on trade-ins & store credit, but I made it a point to keep every single game I got my hands on. Something I mostly still do to this day.
When it comes to playing old games nowadays, I usually seek out digital versions, but I'll still go out of my way for physical versions of games I really genuinely love.
See my full collection here. Nothing's for sale, sorry.
Some highlights
(Click images to see them in full size)
Final Fantasy VII on PC, complete in box. The worst version of the game in some really cool packaging.
Box sets of PS2 titles. I own seven out of 23 by my count.
My Megaten/General Atlus collection. Every PS2 & 3DS game under the Megaten umbrella, as well as reproductions of the SNES games made by Immortal Gems (no longer exists).
Final Fantasy 1, complete in box. Not happy about the big tear, but I bought this on a whim, and probably wouldn't have gone out of my way for it.
Final Fantasy V, complete in box. Unlike FF1, I absolutely went out of my way for this one. Wouldn't mind getting FFIV in box as well.
